About the position
We are seeking a strategic, execution-focused Senior Director of Corporate Planning and Enterprise Projects to lead our Corporate Planning and Enterprise Project Office (CPEP). This role has primary accountability for driving diligence and integration planning for M&A, enterprise projects, and technology-enabled business transformation.
This role partners closely with the Veracyte Leadership Team (VLT), Finance, Technology, and other leaders to translate corporate strategy into an integrated, outcome-driven portfolio of enterprise initiatives, ensuring disciplined execution, transparency, and value realization across the organization.
The Senior Director will own enterprise planning rhythms, oversee high-impact cross-functional programs, and establish governance, standards, and operating rigor for how enterprise software and systems work is prioritized, funded, delivered, and adopted across the company.
This position is based out of our San Diego office (hybrid).
- Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the Corporate Planning and Enterprise Project Office (CPEP) with a clear mandate for enterprise project and integrations.
- Partnering with the corporate strategy function to translate into a sequenced, dependency-aware portfolio of enterprise initiatives aligned to architecture, capacity, and investment priorities.
- Lead large-scale, multi-year enterprise projects , including ERP system augmentations, platform modernization, data initiatives, and M&A technology integrations.
- Own M&A diligence and integration execution, including Day-1 readiness and deal success tracking.
- Provide portfolio-level visibility into delivery status, risks, dependencies, and resource constraints across all enterprise projects.
- Proactively identify and resolve cross-system dependencies, integration risks, data readiness issues, and adoption challenges.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Veracyte Leadership Team on enterprise execution health, investment tradeoffs, sequencing decisions, and delivery risk.
- Prepare clear, concise executive- and Board-level materials communicating progress, risks, dependencies, and business impact of enterprise initiatives and acquisition integrations.
- Facilitate executive operating reviews and governance forums tied to enterprise priorities and M&A integration execution.
- Drive continuous improvement in how the organization plans, funds, delivers, and adopts enterprise projects.
- Implement KPIs to measure delivery project ROI, including deal tracking.
- Champion structured change management to ensure enterprise projects and acquisition deliver sustained business impact.
- Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise program management, enterprise PMO leadership, corporate planning, or corporate transformation.
- Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise portfolios, including complex, cross-functional projects.
- Demonstrated success delivering M&A diligence and post-close system integrations.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and partner with senior business leaders.
