Job Description
A premier national labor and employment law firm is seeking experienced Counsel to join its innovative team focused on handling administrative agency matters. This fully remote position is ideal for attorneys with a strong background in labor and employment law, particularly those with substantial experience responding to charges filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and similar state agencies.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as lead counsel in drafting position statements and responding to administrative charges on behalf of corporate clients.
- Analyze complex employment law issues and provide strategic guidance to clients across a variety of industries.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal professionals using a proprietary, data-driven platform designed to streamline workflow and enhance efficiency.
- Maintain high-quality legal work while managing a reduced caseload that supports work-life balance.
- Stay current on developments in federal and state employment law, particularly those impacting agency investigations and enforcement.
- Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience practicing labor and employment law, with a strong emphasis on defending against EEOC and state agency charges.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage agency matters from intake through resolution.
- Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a technology-enabled, remote environment.
- Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
