Join Calix as a SmartTown Alliance Intern for a full-time, remote summer internship focused on sales, business development, and marketing in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Your Role
- Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting launch and operationalization of the SmartTown Alliance with key internal stakeholders
- Developing and evaluating business cases for new features and capabilities
- Creating data-driven materials to assist the Calix sales team with partner knowledge
- Assisting with internal process design and documentation
- Managing and updating internal Alliance reference materials
- Working cross-functionally with product and marketing teams
About You
- The company is looking for:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Sales, or related field
- Experience with Excel and data entry
- Salesforce.com or CRM experience preferred
- Comfortable with technology and learning new applications and platforms
- Team player with effective communication skills at all organizational levels
- Experience in analytical problem solving and analysis
- Detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a remote environment with high tolerance for ambiguity and fast-changing environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Able to work for the complete summer break (May - August or June - September)
- Preference given to Juniors or Seniors with previous internship experience
- Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay ranges: San Francisco Bay Area $21.85 - $28.75; Select US Metros and States $19.00 - $25.00; Other US Locations $17.10 - $22.50
