Job Description
I’m looking for an experienced WooCommerce/Stripe developer to diagnose and fix a subscription payment issue on my WordPress site.
The problem:
Subscription renewal orders are being created in WooCommerce
However, payments are NOT being processed
Orders show as “overdue”
It appears that saved payment tokens are missing or broken
Important context:
Payments are processed through Stripe
One-time purchases are working normally
The issue is affecting ALL membership levels
Memberships are managed through WishList Member
This issue started recently (likely after an update or connection issue)
What I need:
Diagnose the root cause (do NOT guess or apply random fixes)
Identify whether the issue is with:
Stripe connection
Token handling
WooCommerce subscriptions
WishList Member integration
Propose a clear, safe fix
Implement the fix (after approval)
Ensure new subscriptions and renewals will process correctly
Scope (initial):
Paid diagnostic (1–2 hours)
If it’s a good fit, I will continue with you for the full fix
Requirements:
Strong experience with WooCommerce subscriptions and Stripe
Experience troubleshooting payment/token issues
Ability to clearly explain what you find (in plain English)
Careful and methodical approach (no “quick hacks”)
Nice to have:
Experience with WishList Member
Experience fixing webhook or token-related issues
