Description
- I’m launching a premium sauce and need help with flavor positioning and messaging for packaging.
This is not a design project. I already have a designer.
I’m looking for someone who can define how the product should be described on the bottle so it’s clear, appealing, and drives purchase.
The flavor profile is unique and doesn’t fit neatly into a standard category, so the challenge is:
- How to communicate what it is quickly and clearly
- What to highlight vs what to avoid
- How to make it feel familiar enough to buy, but still distinctive
What I Need
- Define flavor positioning
- Recommend front-of-label messaging (what should / shouldn’t be there)
- Develop simple, high-converting flavor descriptors
- Provide clear direction I can hand off to a designer
Ideal Experience
- CPG brand strategy (food preferred)
- Experience with sauces, condiments, or similar categories is a plus
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior and purchase decisions
