- Perform complex root cause analysis on large datasets to identify denial patterns and revenue leakage.
- Partner with leaders to develop and implement workflow solutions and automated reporting for key business drivers.
- Utilize analytical tools such as SQL and Excel to assess the financial impact of various collection efforts.
- Break down complex collection problems into digestible components and develop robust solutions.
- Identify and facilitate strategic process improvements to move ROPS to 'World Class' standards.
- Challenge the status quo to identify transformative changes in how denials and short-pays are handled.
- Influence results through clear oral and written communication of complex concepts to senior leadership.
- Interface with external vendors and insurance companies to resolve payment disputes and optimization gaps.
- Create and maintain project plans, ensuring updates are provided to stakeholders regularly.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (STEM, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Business)
- 2–4 years of experience in healthcare analytics or revenue cycle management
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel
- Strong expertise in Tableau dashboard development
- Experience with Python or VBA for data manipulation is highly preferred
- Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and draw data-driven conclusions
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
