Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in acquiring, servicing, and retaining clients for Vista Trans Holding Inc. This position is integral to our growth strategy and requires a proactive individual with a passion for sales and a deep understanding of the logistics industry. In this position, the person reports on a weekly basis to the Logistics Manager.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage customer base, pursue and secure business;
- Acquire customers for Vista Trans Holding focusing on specific lanes, commodities, new markets, contract opportunities, and specialized equipment;
- Establish integrated solutions to meet customers’ needs, requirements, and satisfaction;
- Present and negotiate the rate with the customers/carriers;
- Provide a “cradle to grave” service to key accounts.
- Required qualifications:
- Transferable portfolio of active customers;
- 2+ years of proven experience in logistics, and freight sales.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- A bachelor`s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field will be considered as an advantage.
