Pace Yourself Counseling Collective is a therapy and nutrition practice specializing in eating disorders, trauma, OCD, and body image. We’re looking for an undergraduate intern who wants hands-on experience with marketing and social media while contributing to a mission that genuinely matters.
This role is ideal for a student interested in marketing, communications, social work, psychology, or entrepreneurship who wants to learn how a values-centered private practice operates behind the scenes.

- Internship opportunities for Summer Semester 2026 and Fall Semester 2026
- This internship will start with 30 hours a month and grow from there
- This is an unpaid internship
- What You’ll Be Doing:
- Content creation
- Content subjects: Eating disorders, attachment trauma, OCD, anxiety/depression, athletes, nutrition, therapy modalities, services and updates on providers
- Types of content: Reels, static posts, carousels, stories, and detailed caption creation
- Create content calendars, social campaigns, create content via Canva
- Staying on top of trends (and tell us what’s actually worth trying)
- Scheduling posts and keeping social media projects organized and on track
- Assisting with blog posts and website updates
- Supporting analytics tracking and reporting on socials
- Assisting with Google Ads and SEO initiatives (based on interest/skill level)
- Helping translate clinical topics into accessible, engaging content
- Working directly with the practice owner on strategy and creative ideas
- Helping ensure marketing projects move forward in a timely way
- Required Skills
- Strong organization and time management
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and think ahead
- Attention to detail
- Familiarity with major social media platforms
- Access to your own laptop and reliable internet
- Availability for meetings during weekday business hours
- Respect for confidentiality and professionalism (HIPAA awareness is essential)

About the Owner:
Hi, I'm Lindsey Cope, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Pace Yourself Counseling Collective. I'm someone who loves big ideas, especially around how to make therapy more accessible. I'm a lifelong runner, and am passionate about supporting high performing women and athletes navigate eating disorder recovery. And I'm excited to work with you!

Phone interviews will be scheduled on a rolling basis. Applications close April 24th, 2027.
Additional information as requested from Career Services Offices:
Per the seven-point test:
1. The internship will be unpaid.
2. Training information: the intern will learn and use all major social media platforms, scheduling software, analytics software, Wordpress for blog posts, Flodesk for email campaigns, etc. Training will occur via pre-recorded videos or via live call on a video platform for hands-on training. More training may be required throughout the semester for either party.
3. The intern will provide the supervisor with all class objectives and the supervisor will accommodate the objectives.
4. The internship will accommodate the intern’s academic schedule with training and the intern will complete projects on their own time further into the semester.
5. The internship will last the duration of the semester.
6. Training will occur as soon as the intern is able to begin. Intern will work alongside supervisor at first to fit intern’s academic schedule then complete projects on own throughout the semester with supervisory guidance.
7. There is no guarantee that the intern will be hired after completion of the internship.

- Feedback information: Feedback will be provided on each project such as graphic design, blog post, email newsletter, etc. Supervision will occur via a live call on a video platform at least one hour per week for the duration of the internship. If more supervision is needed per the class requirements, more will be provided.
