Role Description
- As Sr Manager Cybersecurity, you’ll lead with a People‑first approach while guiding the Security Platform Services Team in delivering secure, scalable, and highly automated capabilities that strengthen Southwest’s Cybersecurity posture.
- Oversee advanced security platforms, SaaS security solutions, and AI‑enabled protections
- Ensure well‑integration, compliance with cybersecurity and technical strategy, and meeting Customer requirements
- Drive vulnerability management, intelligent automation, and observability at scale
- Build trusted partnerships across the enterprise
- Empower Teams and advance the security ecosystem
- Play a critical role in safeguarding Southwest’s systems, data, and Customers
- Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field and/or equivalent Cybersecurity formal training
- Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in directly or indirectly leading team(s)
- Fully functioning, broad knowledge in a Cybersecurity Business and/or Information Technology environment
- Experience leading Cybersecurity initiatives using Agile/SAFe
- Proficiency with Jira Align or similar portfolio tools
- Strong cross-functional leadership and executive communication skills
- Familiarity with key Cybersecurity domains such as Automation, Observability, AI Security and SaaS Security platforms
