Job Description

The Director, Data Governance Risk & Compliance leads the assessment and management of risks associated with data and AI governance. This role develops and maintains compliance frameworks, conducts audits, and ensures the organization is prepared for regulatory changes. The Director partners with Legal, Risk, and Security teams to drive awareness, training, and continuous improvement in risk management practices.
Qualifications:

  • - 8+ years in risk management, compliance, or data governance.
  • - Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • - Deep understanding of risk assessment methodologies and compliance frameworks.
  • - Experience with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and audit processes.
  • - Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • - Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement.
  • - Experience developing and delivering training programs.
  • - Proven track record in managing enterprise risk and compliance initiatives.
    Key Responsibilities:
  • - Oversee risk management frameworks for data and AI governance.
  • - Conduct compliance assessments, audits, and regulatory gap analyses.
  • - Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Security teams to mitigate risks.
  • - Develop and maintain compliance documentation and evidence repositories.
  • - Monitor regulatory changes and ensure organizational readiness.
  • - Lead training and awareness initiatives for risk and compliance.
  • - Report on risk posture, compliance status, and remediation plans to leadership.
  • - Support incident response and investigations related to data governance.
  • - Drive continuous improvement in risk management practices and controls.
  • - Facilitate risk workshops and scenario planning with stakeholders.
