Job Description
We are seeking a quick and detail-oriented paralegal to assist with legal research for an interesting ongoing case in Minnesota. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of legal principles, research methodologies, and familiarity with Federal law and statutes, even better if they also have knowledge of Minnesota law. This case is based in Minnesota and thus the paralegal will need to also use MN law, legal precedents, and state statutes when conducting their research.
Case involves allegations presented in a Federal Revocation hearing based on hearsay, potential contraband, and locations beyond the distance limitations of a federal prison. More detail will be provided if asked or when hired.
Your role will involve gathering relevant case law, statutes, and legal precedents to answer this question. Your work will be used to assist in allowing all counsel access to the information so they may make a more knowledgeable judgment based on relevant facts. Timeliness and accuracy are critical, as we will need actionable insights promptly. We must be able to use the research you found for the case if needed.
