Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Fruit Street Health is a CDC-recognized diabetes prevention program designed to help patients with prediabetes prevent the progression to Type 2 diabetes through diet and lifestyle changes. The Advisory Board Member will provide strategic clinical guidance on integrating diabetes prevention programs into internal medicine practices and population health initiatives.
- Responsibilities
- Advocate for referrals of prediabetic patients into the program
- Provide insights on managing prediabetes in adult populations
- Advise on integration with primary care and internal medicine practices
- Engage with insurers, employers, and healthcare executives to expand program adoption
- Attend major conferences such as the annual ACP conference on behalf of Fruit Street
- Skills
- Board-certified internal medicine physician (MD/DO)
- Experience managing chronic metabolic disease
- Interest in preventative medicine and digital health innovation
- Passion for improving patient outcomes through early intervention
