Schedule: PRN Shift: Night-Weekend (United States of America) Address: 501 REDMOND RD NW City: ROME State: Georgia Postal Code: 30165 Job Description: Work Schedule: Varies upon need, but primary weekend coverage. Starting Friday at 5 pm Assesses and supports the spiritual needs of patients, families, and staff as part of holistic care Provides compassionate, attentive listening and personalized emotional/spiritual support. Helps individuals find strength, meaning, faith, and comfort during illness and decision-making. Responds to crises (e.g., code blues) and collaborates with care teams to support patients and families. Documents care, participates in interdisciplinary teams, and mentor's chaplain interns/residents. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Personal integrity and an ability to work under stress • Ability to effectively relate to and consistently provide professional, meaningful, spiritual care to patients, families and staff from diverse backgrounds with respect and reverence toward individual values and beliefs • Ability to demonstrate professional pastoral qualities that earn the respect of nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in the clinical context. Education: • Bachelor's in spiritual care, arts, or equivalent degree from college/university or institution accredited by the applicant’s institutional faith body [Required] • Technical/Vocational School completion of deacon training and ordination [Required] Field of Study: • Bachelors Degree in spiritual care, arts, or equivalent degree from college/university or institution accredited by the applicant’s institutional faith body Required OR • Completion of deacon training and ordination Required Work Experience: • 1+ pastoral ministry [Preferred] Additional Information: • N/A Licenses and Certifications: • Driver's License (DL) [Required] • Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) [Preferred] Pay Range: $25.13 - $46.74 This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
