Dot Net Full Stack Architect
Warre, NJ (Hybrid 3 days on-site)
Experience in Reinsurance domain is required however P&C insurance can also be considered.
ROLE SUMMARY
- The Solution Architect Reinsurance will be responsible for designing and developing APIs and Integrations using the .Net 8+ framework. Frontend development experience with React and Angular is a definite plus. This role requires a strong foundation in programming, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. The .Net Developer will contribute to building high-quality and innovative software solutions that meet the needs of our organization.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand project requirements.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and secure APIs and Integrations using the .Net framework.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
- Debug and resolve software defects and technical issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to architectural guidelines.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for code, processes, and systems.
- Stay updated with the latest .Net technologies, tools, and industry trends to recommend improvements.
- Assist in the integration of third-party systems and APIs as required.
- Ensure performance optimization, security, and scalability of applications.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and successful project delivery.
- Maintain GIT repositories hosted on Azure DevOps services.
- TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 15 of experience in .Net application development. Experience with both front-end and back-end development is a plus.
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.Net, and .Net *8 frameworks.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns such as dependency injection and service repository patterns.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML & CSS3. JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.
- Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and ORM frameworks like Entity Framework.
- Strong understanding with RESTful APIs, Web Services, and Microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Azure experience is required.
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps Services.
- Frontend development experience in Angular and React is a plus.
- GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently, with efficiency.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organization skills with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple IT team disciplines.
- Prior Insurance / Reinsurance or other related industry experience is considered a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- BS CS/CE or equivalent experience.
- Certifications in relevant technologies, applicable for this role.
