Job Description

Egis is a global leader in the consulting, construction engineering, and mobility service sectors, and they are seeking an Architectural Designer I to join their Coral Gables studio. In this role, you will support the Project Architect/Manager in the design and development of project documents for large scale residential and hospitality projects. Responsibilities Prepare and modify architectural deliverables as directed Develop presentation and design drawings to convey design intent Actively contribute original design ideas and solutions Develop 3D Models as directed Skills Strong 3D Modeling skills (SketchUp, Rhino, and Revit) Proficiency in rendering software (Vray, Lumion and 3D Studio Max) Proficiency with CAD/BIM drafting software (AutoCAD and Revit) Advanced knowledge of BIM or Parametric Design is an asset (Revit, Dynamo and Grasshopper) Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook Proficiency in Adobe Create Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) Ability to sketch and develop design ideas graphically (Diagramming by hand or digitally) Ability to discuss and communicate ideas with verbal and graphic clarity Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines Ability to work in a collaborative team environment Fast learner who can adapt to a variety of project requirements Graduate of an accredited professional architectural degree program (BARCH or MARCH) Actively working towards licensure and the AXP program Previous work experience in residential, mixed-use and hospitality projects Benefits Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
