Nokia of America Corporation , Regional PLM, Manageability (Multiple Positions), Murray Hill, NJ Responsibilities Consult internally with NAM RBC team members to assist with not only learning and adopting Model-Driven Management (MDM) technologies, but also driving the conversation with customers toward successful adoption of Nokia products. Collaborate with other IPN teams (most notably PLM) to articulate and prioritize new customer requirements. Serve as a subject matter expert for some adjacent products in the Nokia IPN portfolio – both software and hardware, for which MDM and programmability are key for success. Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations. Produce collateral, both internally and externally focused, to facilitate adoption of MDM-related technologies with open-source tools as well as Nokia management systems. Engage with customers and consult them on proper positioning of MDM technologies. Participate, influence, and contribute to relevant industry standards organizations (e.g. IETF Netconf/ Netmod, OpenConfig). Resolve highly complex problems within own discipline. Make decisions about own and/or project work using known solutions as basis. #LI-DNI Qualifications Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology or a related field, and 7 years of related work experience, of which 5 years is post-bachelor’s progressive related work experience; OR a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology or a related field, and 5 years of related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience with the following: Network design, network analytics, and network operation; IP routing and Ethernet switching; and IP/MDM products. Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: YANG models: writing, reading and tooling; Python programming; Packaging and publishing open source code, including GitHub or GitLab; and Integration with open source tools used in networking, including Ansible, Salt, or NAPALM. Domestic travel is required up to 35%. Telecommuting may be permitted up to 100% anywhere in the US. Employer will accept any suitable combination of experience of education, training or experience.
