The Transmission Engineer Associate will assist with research, data analysis, and project support for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects. Responsibilities Conduct basic research on transmission systems, interconnection opportunities, and market dynamics Support the preparation of interconnection applications for Solar PV, PV+BESS, and standalone BESS projects Assist in preliminary transmission screenings to identify viable project locations Help track project interconnection milestones and maintain project documentation Summarize and communicate findings to project teams in a clear and concise manner Support the evaluation of grid upgrade costs and schedules with guidance from senior team members Assist with utility and ISO/RTO correspondence and documentation Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related technical field Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-starter with eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment Passion for renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure Internship or project experience related to renewable energy, transmission, or power systems is a plus Familiarity with basic power systems concepts (e.g., transmission, load flow, interconnection) Exposure to modeling or analysis software such as PSS/E, PowerWorld, PSLF, or TARA is a plus Benefits 401(k) plan with company matching Competitive health, vision, and dental benefits Attractive personal time off and company holiday package Work-from-home policy Company Overview Adapture Renewables, Inc. develops, owns, and operates utility-scale solar and battery storage projects across the United States.
