Edkey is a company seeking an entry-level Full Stack Engineer to support a confidential client in building AI agents and consumer-facing features. The role involves shipping end-to-end features across the frontend and backend while learning distributed systems concepts in a small, high-trust engineering team. Responsibilities Build and ship complete features end-to-end using modern web stacks (React, TypeScript, Node.js) Contribute across the full stack with a leaning toward backend and distributed systems as you grow Design and implement APIs (REST or GraphQL) and integrate third-party services, including LLM APIs where applicable Implement reliable background processing, queuing, and caching patterns to improve performance and scalability Own your work from specification through testing, deployment, and monitoring Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineers in a fast-paced startup environment Continuously learn, iterate, and improve code quality, testing, and system reliability Skills 0–2 years of professional software engineering experience (entry-level / early-career) Hands-on experience or personal projects using React, TypeScript, and Node.js Proven ability to build side projects, open-source contributions, or coursework demonstrating practical coding experience Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a bias toward shipping Excellent communication and a collaborative mindset Familiarity with GraphQL and API design Understanding of distributed systems concepts (queuing, caching, background workers) Any experience calling LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) or integrating LLM-based features Prior experience at a high-growth startup or top CS programs/projects Benefits Potential equity participation may be offered.
