They are seeking a mid-level Editor & Motion Designer who combines strong traditional post-production skills with a working knowledge of emerging AI tools to produce high-quality video content. Responsibilities Edit short- and long-form video content with strong storytelling, pacing, and structure Design and execute motion graphics using tools like After Effects Collaborate with producers and creatives to bring concepts to life Integrate AI tools (e.g., MidJourney, Nano Banana, Runway, etc.) into workflows where appropriate Handle color correction, sound syncing, and finishing Translate creative briefs into polished final deliverables Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Skills 1–4 years of professional video editing experience Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent) After Effects (motion graphics) Solid understanding of storytelling and pacing Composition and visual hierarchy Basic color correction and audio editing Familiarity with AI video/image tools Ability to incorporate AI into real production workflows (not just experimentation) Strong creative judgment and attention to detail Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly Self-starter with strong time management Interested in progressive politics Benefits 401(k) with 3% employer contribution Healthcare, dental, and vision insurance offered Remote-friendly team with flexible working hours High-impact, fast-paced work that supports critical causes and campaigns Company Overview Recognized nationally for our award-winning creative and break-through victories, AL Media has taken on some of the highest profile, against-the-odds challenges in electoral, legislative, and public affairs campaigns… and won.
