Spin Master Games is a leading global children's toy, entertainment and digital gaming company. The role involves creating art for a variety of children's products, including toys and activity books, while collaborating with the design team to ensure brand consistency and innovative design solutions. Responsibilities Conceptualize and design engaging and educational content for a wide range of children's products, including toys, puzzles, activity books, and pretend play sets Layout designs quickly to present to and get approval from the management team Create original illustrations in a variety of styles that are consistent with the Melissa Doug brand Collaborate with the Design Director and other team members from concept to final production Prepare and deliver accurate design files and specifications for manufacturing, considering cost and ergonomic factors Create rough drafts and mock-ups to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts Ensure that all designs align with our brand guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel across all products Stay current with design trends and bring innovative ideas to the team Skills Experience in graphic design or illustration, preferably in the children's product or toy industry Superb layout and design skills, with attention to detail Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) Excellent drawing and illustration skills, with the ability to work in various styles Proficiency in vector-based illustrations and understanding of printing processes A solid understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout Strong communication and collaboration skills Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once The ability to execute under tight deadlines is a key A strong portfolio showcasing your design and illustration skills Benefits Growth and Career Opportunities Flexible Work Hours Innovation, Collaboration and Fun Comprehensive Benefits Other fun Perks!
