Cloud Solutions Architect 📍 Location: Arizona (AZ), USA REMOTE ROLE 💼 Type: Full-Time 💰 Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 annually Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to design, implement, and support hybrid cloud environments across public and private platforms. This role will focus on delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions while supporting both pre-sales activities (25%) and service delivery (75%) . The ideal candidate will have strong experience across Microsoft cloud technologies, OpenStack, VMware, and networking fundamentals , with the ability to engage both technical teams and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Design and architect hybrid cloud solutions across public and private cloud environments. Lead service delivery efforts , including implementation, migration, and optimization of cloud solutions. Provide pre-sales technical support , including solution design, client presentations, and technical consultations. Architect and support Microsoft cloud solutions , including identity and collaboration platforms. Work with engineering teams to deploy and manage OpenStack and VMware-based private cloud environments . Ensure scalability, security, and high availability of cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business requirements. Provide guidance on best practices, cost optimization, and cloud strategy . Required Skills & Experience Public Cloud Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, M365, and Entra ID (Azure AD) Familiarity with AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (nice to have) Private Cloud Hands-on experience with OpenStack components (e.g., Glance, Nova, Neutron, Cinder) Strong experience with VMware technologies (vSphere/ESXi, vSAN) Networking Solid understanding of L2/L3 networking concepts and routing protocols Operating Systems Experience with both Windows and Linux environments Additional Skills Experience with Veeam or similar backup solutions (nice to have) Strong problem-solving and architectural design skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Role Breakdown 25% Pre-Sales Support: Solution design, client engagement, technical presentations 75% Service Delivery: Implementation, migration, and ongoing support Why Join Us?
