Responsibilities include: ยท Perform billing and collection activities within established timelines ยท Verify and apply Medicaid, HMO, and insurance billing codes and reimbursement rates ยท Assist with audits , ensuring compliance and quality assurance of documentation ยท Manage high volumes of phone communication with clients, families, and payers ยท Maintain and update billing databases and EMR systems ยท Respond to inquiries and documentation requests within 24 hours ยท Collaborate with clinicians, administrators, and RCM leadership ยท Represent Chrysalis Health professionally during all interactions ยท Communicate with patients professionally and compassionately ยท Resolve billing issues and denied claims ยท Meet all annual training and compliance requirements What You Need to Succeed: Youโ€™ll be a great fit if you are: ยท Highly organized and detail-oriented ยท Skilled in navigating Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) ยท Comfortable with databases and billing systems (e.g., Winasap 2000) ยท A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills ยท Able to work independently while collaborating with a remote team ยท Compassionate, patient, and mission-driven ยท Knowledge of insurance and Medicaid billing ยท Excellent communication skills ยท Ability to work independently in a remote environment Minimum Requirements ยท High school diploma or GED ยท At least one year of billing, collections, financial services, or administrative experience in a healthcare environment ยท Proficiency with computers, billing software, and EMR systems ยท Clear background check annually What Sets Us Apart? โ€ข A collaborative and supportive work environment โ€ข Opportunities to work with diverse populations and make a lasting impact Chrysalis Health is an equal employment opportunity employer.
