They are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to drive new business opportunities and build relationships with prospective clients in the cybersecurity space. Responsibilities Lead Generation: Prospect, identify, and qualify potential customers through inbound and outbound prospecting - calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach Client Engagement: Engage with decision-makers in target companies to understand their cybersecurity needs, challenges, and pain points, particularly related to ransomware threats Sales Support: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to support and execute strategies for lead generation, campaigns, and outreach Pipeline Management: Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and manage lead data within our CRM system Educate & Qualify: Provide relevant information on our ransomware protection solutions and qualify leads to determine their potential fit for our services Nurturing: Follow up with leads and ensure consistent engagement until they are ready for a deeper conversation with an Account Executive or sales team Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and ransomware threats to communicate value effectively Skills 1-3 years of experience in a sales development or business development role, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology industry Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape, especially ransomware threats, is a plus Experience with CRM and Sales systems (Salesforce, Madkudu, Salesloft, Nooks, LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, Gong, etc.) Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs Benefits Comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents.
