- Teaching and explaining concepts in math, reading, science, and social studies in a clear, engaging, and relatable manner.
- Assisting students with homework assignments, projects, and test preparation in the respective subjects.
- Monitoring student progress and performance to track improvement and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Maintaining open and effective communication with parents or guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress.
- Proven experience as a tutor or teacher in math, reading, science, and social studies for junior high students.
- Strong command of the respective subjects and the ability to convey concepts in an accessible manner.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Availability to conduct in-home tutoring sessions in Richmond, TX 77406
Expected salary: $25 per hour
