Role Description Serves as a Corporate Growth Consultant to lead the sales processes for prospective groups and strategic existing products. The sales process includes the development and execution of growth strategies, tactics and training. β’ Assist in identifying, assessing and developing new business opportunities. β’ Provide support for developing growth/contracting strategies, sales process development and driving superior client engagement and operational performance. β’ Work with senior team members to build rapport with senior executives across Operations, Growth, Product Development, Finance, and other key leaders. β’ Provide excellent tools, reports and data analysis for visibility in determining national sales strategies. β’ Articulate GEHAβs services, positioning us within the market and industry standard. β’ Participate in sales planning, sales strategies, territorial coverage, and budgeting processes. β’ Recommend and assist in driving Go to Market (GTM) project plans for growth. β’ Monitor sales flow, prepare analysis, and make recommendations for improvement. β’ Prepare value-added reports summarizing overall customer base and trends. β’ Consistently monitor product lines and services to optimize prospect interaction. β’ Work on special projects and task forces as assigned. β’ Develop messaging and collaborate with Marketing on the Account Manager toolbox. β’ Create and update training materials and policies. β’ Manage all regional activity within budgetary guidelines. β’ Maintain up-to-date information on industry trends and the competitive landscape. β’ Collaborate with Finance, IT, Clinical, Operations, and other business units for diligence activities. β’ Create functional strategies and specific objectives for cross-functional teams. β’ Attend and assist with GEHA conferences. Qualifications β’ Bachelorβs Degree in Communications, Business, Marketing or a related field. β’ 3 years of successful sales or equivalent sales management production in member services, insurance, or health-related account management services. β’ Successful outside sales or equivalent experience in managed care, member services, insurance marketing, or health-related account management products or services. β’ Additional years of qualifying work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. β’ Understand industry and category-specific landscapes and trends. β’ Clear and effective written and oral communications. β’ Strong attention to detail, effective time management skills, and negotiation skills. β’ Strong communicator who fosters internal feedback loops. β’ Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services. Requirements β’ Ability to provide a non-cellular High Speed Internet Service (Fiber, DSL, or cable Modems) for a home office. β’ Minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 30x5 (30mbps download x 5mbps upload) is required. β’ Latency (ping) response time lower than 80 ms. β’ Hotspots, satellite and wireless internet service is NOT allowed for this role. β’ A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
