Job Description

You’ve Never Been Satisfied with "Good Enough". You want to make an impact, not just manage projects, but change how the world gets built. At Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, you’ll help develop and deliver the factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure that keep communities moving—doing it smarter, safer, and more sustainably than ever before. You’ll work alongside project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists who blend real‑world experience with digital innovation and AI. Together, we’re transforming how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed, creating a better way to build for the future. Because “good enough” builds the past. You’re here to build what’s next, on a team that outperforms every norm. THE WORK: • You’ll own the sector proposal strategy, aligning it to growth priorities and pipeline. • You’ll advise growth, capture, and account leaders on readiness and win strategy. • You’ll provide executive oversight on high‑value, high‑risk pursuits. • You’ll translate firm growth goals into actionable sector execution plans. • You’ll govern the end‑to‑end proposal lifecycle across RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs. • You’ll establish planning discipline, including reviews and decision gates, and drive accountability. • You’ll ensure proposal content, resumes, and project sheets align with client strategy. • You’ll serve as the escalation point for risk, compliance, and resourcing issues. • You’ll build and scale a high‑performing, sector‑aligned proposal team. • You’ll define roles, operating rhythms, and performance expectations. • You’ll coach team members and build succession within the proposal function. • You’ll align staffing and career pathways with national proposal leadership. • You’ll set and enforce proposal quality, brand, and compliance standards. • You’ll act as a senior liaison across proposal, capture, and sector leadership. • You’ll shape bid/no‑bid decisions with clear risk assessments and probability‑of‑win perspectives. • You’ll drive continuous improvement across processes, tools, and lessons learned. • You’ll own sector proposal planning, forecasting, and prioritization. • You’ll track effort, efficiency, and effectiveness to guide investment decisions. • You’ll ensure compliance with client, firm, and regulatory requirements. • Remote: This role allows for remote work for the majority of your work hours. • With all our roles, there is some in‑person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. We will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs. HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED: • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in proposal management at a senior level, including sector‑specific experience in the A/E/C industries. BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE: • Demonstrated experience leading complex, high‑value pursuits and influencing senior stakeholders. • Strong understanding of public agency procurement and pursuit strategies across transportation, utilities, airports, and related infrastructure sectors. • Proven ability to build and lead teams, establish governance, and operate credibly at the executive level. • Exceptional organizational, writing, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on engagement when pursuits demand it. • Proficiency with CRM, content libraries, and proposal tools (Adobe, MS Office, etc.). $150,000 - $170,000 a year We accept applications on an ongoing basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply. We believe that no one should be discriminated against because of their differences. All employment decisions shall be made without regard to age, race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, disability status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetic information, marital status, citizenship status or any other basis as protected by federal, state, or local law.
