As a Ramp Agent, you'll be part of a dynamic and supportive team that's dedicated to excellence. **Key Responsibilities** As a Ramp Agent, your primary responsibilities will include: * Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, ensuring timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions. * Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather conditions. * Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion. * Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination. * Maintaining a safe and secure working environment, adhering to all operational processes and procedures. **Work Environment and Schedule** As a Ramp Agent, you'll work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. Your schedule will be based on operational needs, with shifts ranging from early morning to overnight. You'll work between 20 and 40 hours per week, based on your seniority. **What You Need to Succeed** To be successful as a Ramp Agent, you'll need: * A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. * Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States. * Have a valid driver's license. * Proficiency in English. * Pass a physical ability test (PAT). You can prepare for the PAT by watching this video. * Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE. * Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal. **What Will Give You a Competitive Edge** While not required, having the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: * Previous experience in a customer service or transportation-related role. * Knowledge of airport operations and procedures. * Familiarity with ground equipment and baggage handling systems. **Benefits and Perks** As a Ramp Agent at arenaflex, you'll enjoy a range of benefits and perks, including: * Competitive salary, industry-leading profit-sharing program, and performance incentives. * 401(k) with generous company contributions up to 9%. * New hires are eligible for up to 2-weeks of vacation.
