Our team is passionate about making a positive impact, and we're seeking like-minded individuals to join our dynamic team. **The Role** As a Temporary Remote CAT Customer Service Representative, you'll be part of a dedicated team responding to catastrophe relief efforts. This temporary, remote position is contingent on the need for relief efforts and requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach. You'll work a flexible schedule, choosing shifts that suit your needs, with preferred hours of availability from Monday to Sunday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide exceptional customer service and technical expertise through prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customer needs. * Offer empathy and support to customers during the claim process, ensuring a positive experience. * Collect and document all claim details provided by the customer into the claim accurately. * Identify and resolve customer issues by adhering to client-specific handling instructions. * Utilize call scripting to ensure consistency and efficiency in handling customer claims and inquiries. **Requirements** * Must be 18 years of age or older * High school diploma or equivalent * Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills * Ability to type swiftly and accurately (40+ words a minute) * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) * Basic understanding of Windows operating systems * Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality * Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues * Must be customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious) * Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment * Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based * Must be willing to submit to a background investigation and drug test as part of the onboarding process.
