Dow Jones is a global provider of news and business information, and they are seeking a Research Analyst to join their WSJ Intelligence team. The role involves managing audience research requests, analyzing data sets, and delivering insights to support sales and marketing initiatives, particularly in the financial services sector. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day audience research requests for WSJ | BG brands from stakeholders, providing accurate & concise analysis of various data sets in service of our sales and marketing initiatives Effectively understand and interpret all available syndicated research sources, in service of enhancing our sales process, synthesizing these insights to internal stakeholders including integrated marketing, product strategy & sales leads Mine Factiva, Statista, and other available sources to uncover topical third-party research and insights Manage day-to-day aspects of multi-platform ad effectiveness studies, from set up & execution to interpreting & delivering results In conjunction with their manager, develop, program & analyze proprietary research studies using Qualtrics platform, as well as develop & present narratives to key stakeholders Build strong relationships across the organization with internal stakeholders Skills 1+ years of experience in audience research or related field Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Word, and especially Excel Proficient in Google's suite of tools including Sheets and Slides Ability to manage day-to-day audience research requests Ability to provide accurate & concise analysis of various data sets Ability to understand and interpret syndicated research sources Ability to mine Factiva, Statista, and other sources for research Ability to manage multi-platform ad effectiveness studies Ability to develop, program & analyze proprietary research studies using Qualtrics Ability to build strong relationships across the organization Experience in New Age, Qualtrics, Adobe Analytics Exposure to various quantitative research methodologies Experience with multi-platform advertising effectiveness initiatives Experience with syndicated research studies e.g. Ipsos Affluent, MRI, Comscore, Research & Analysis of Media (RAM), Erdos & Morgan Interest in the financial services sector Bachelor degree Benefits Comprehensive Healthcare Plans Paid Time Off Retirement Plans Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Plans Education Benefits Paid Maternity and Paternity Leave Family Care Benefits Commuter Transit Program Subscription Discounts Employee Referral Program Company Overview Dow Jones is a news and business information provider that delivers content to consumers and organizations via newspapers and more.
