Job Description
At arenaflex, we're revolutionizing the financial services space by simplifying and fixing the complex banking supply chain. We're a bank and a software company built from the ground up, offering builders and developers technology-forward banking solutions that cut out the hundreds of vendors, middleware providers, and abstraction layers. This means a safer, more transparent, and less costly banking supply chain. We're looking for an all-around business athlete to join our Customer Risk Strategy team and help drive continuous improvements across our existing operations. **About arenaflex** arenaflex is a high-growth fintech company that's changing the way financial services are delivered. We're founded by industry experts who have spent their careers founding and scaling companies like Plaid, Square, SoFi, Blend, and Affirm. We've seen firsthand the challenges of building financial technology and transforming the financial services space. Our mission is to simplify and fix the complex banking supply chain, making it safer, more transparent, and less costly for builders and developers. **The Opportunity** We're seeking a highly strategic, operational, and product-oriented professional to join our Customer Risk Strategy team. As a Customer Risk Strategy Professional, you'll play a critical role in helping arenaflex deepen its relationships with its fintech partners by effectively managing our forward-thinking, strategic, and highly efficient risk programs. This is a unique entry point into the world of risk at a high-growth fintech company, where you'll gain skills and experience that few others can offer. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Risk Strategy Professional, you'll be responsible for: * Managing oversight of arenaflex's Fintech Partners, ensuring effective ongoing oversight processes by reviewing key program metrics to identify trends, outliers, or key risk indicators that require further investigation. * Supporting evaluation of partnership expansions, working closely with internal SMEs to evaluate and document key risk and compliance considerations. * Designing and implementing new processes to maintain a growth mindset and help members of the arenaflex risk and compliance organization identify and develop potential process improvements as the partnership activities continue to expand. * Driving development of key metrics and reporting, working closely with the arenaflex senior leadership team on developing new metrics and providing periodic reporting on arenaflex's partnership activities to executive management and the Board of Directors. **What You'll Need to Be Successful** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * 2-3 years of experience in a high-growth environment, including management consulting, financial regulatory agency, financial services, and/or fintech company. * Ability to jump into new situations, with a willingness to learn quickly and help solve problems. * Hyper-organized approach to project management, including coordinating efforts across multiple teams; comfort juggling multiple projects and priorities is critical. * Scrappy, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude - we thrive because we work harder, are more creative, and have zero ego when it comes to getting our hands dirty to build a business. * Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. * Familiarity with the banking and fintech industries is preferred, but not required - an interest in becoming an expert in finance, risk, compliance, and technology, however, is a must. * Excitement about working in a fast-paced, deeply cross-functional space. **What You'll Get from Us** At arenaflex, we're committed to providing a comprehensive benefits package that includes: * Comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans, including options that are 100% covered by arenaflex for you and 100% covered for your dependents! * Comprehensive family planning and fertility benefits via partnership with Carrot, including reimbursement of up to $20,000 in qualified expenses. * FSA and HSA account options to enable use of pre-tax money for medical and dependent care expenses. * 401k plan, including self-directed brokerage options. * Flexible time-off policy - take the time off that you want and need to relax and recharge. * 100% paid parental leave, including 16 weeks for birth mothers, 12 weeks for primary caregivers, and 8 weeks for secondary caregivers. * Catered lunches and dinners for SF employees. * Commuter benefits. * Regular team building events, including annual offsite. **Pay Transparency** Compensation packages at arenaflex include base salary, equity, and benefits. New hire offers are made based on a candidate's experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity relative to peers. The annual base salary range for this role is $115,000 - $130,000 + equity. **We Look Forward to Hearing from You** arenaflex is committed to working with the best and brightest people from the broadest talent pool possible. We value bringing together a team with different perspectives, educational backgrounds, and life experiences, and believe a diversity of ideas is what allows us to develop the best solutions.
