With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, we're always looking for talented individuals who share our passion for delivering exceptional service. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Customer Service/Ground Operations Agent, you'll be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service to all customers, including scheduled or charter services * Processing tickets, checking baggage, monitoring carry-on baggage for size and quantity, and assigning seats * Providing information on arrival and departure times, boarding procedures, carry-on regulations, and seating arrangements * Marshaling in the planes and pushing back the aircraft * Handling denied boarding situations, soliciting volunteers, re-accommodating customers, and providing hotel, meal, and taxi vouchers when appropriate * Assisting customers with special needs, such as customers who require assistance in boarding, loading and unloading baggage, and co-mailing of various weight and dimensions to and from aircraft and applicable airport baggage areas * Operating heavy, motorized machinery/equipment, including tugs, tractors, belt loaders, bag carts, push-back tractors, deicers, etc. * Enforcing safety/security measures and monitoring safety-sensitive zones to ensure FAA compliance * Ensuring arenaflex and airport regulations are followed * Performing other duties as assigned **Essential Qualifications** * Combination of education and experience will be considered * Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986 * Must pass a Criminal Background Check * High School Diploma/GED * Minimum one (1) year customer service experience or equivalent in related training and/or experience; airline industry preferred * Valid/unexpired driver's license * Ability to read, write, and speak English in order to receive and understand instructions, directives, and ensure safety, as well as the ability to interact with customers **Preferred Qualifications** * Basic computer skills; knowledge of general office equipment * People-oriented, highly motivated with a positive and friendly attitude * Ability to work efficiently under time constraints * Well-groomed and adherence to dress code policy * Ability to attend required training * TRAINEE STATUS: Upon offer of employment, you will remain in trainee status until successful completion of all practical and written curriculum **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to work efficiently under time constraints * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and inclusive work culture **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their careers.
