We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Functional Designer to join our team and contribute to the success of our utility clients. **Role Overview** As a Functional Designer / Consultant for Oracle Utility Customer Cloud Services (CCS), you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and the technical implementation of Oracle's CCS software within utility companies. You will be responsible for the functional design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle CCS solutions for our utility clients. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality solutions that meet the unique business processes of our utility clients. **Key Responsibilities** * **Requirements Gathering and Analysis** + Understand utility business processes, including meter-to-cash, billing cycles, customer service interactions, rate structures, and regulatory requirements. + Elicit requirements through workshops, interviews, and document reviews with various stakeholders (billing specialists, customer service reps, meter readers, management). + Translate business needs into clear, concise, and testable functional requirements for the technical team. + Create use cases, user stories, and process flows specific to utility operations. * **Solution Design and Configuration** + Design how CCS will be configured and customized to meet the specific needs of the utility. + Configure CCS to support the utility's business processes, including setting up billing cycles, rate structures, payment processing, customer information management, and other system parameters. + Design the data model and map data between CCS and other systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency. * **Project Execution** + Collaborate with utility business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into detailed functional requirements for Oracle CCS. + Design and configure Oracle CCS to meet specific utility business processes and requirements. + Develop functional design documents, including process flows, use cases, data mappings, and integration specifications. + Configure and customize Oracle CCS, including setting up billing cycles, rate structures, payment processing, customer information management, and other system parameters. + Design and implement integrations between Oracle CCS and other utility systems (e.g., Meter Data Management (MDM), Outage Management System (OMS), Customer Information System (CIS)). + Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, user acceptance testing) and ensure the quality of the implemented solutions. + Provide training and support to end-users on Oracle CCS functionality. + Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support for Oracle CCS implementations. + Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle CCS features, patches, and best practices within the utility industry. + Participate in project planning and execution, contributing to project timelines and deliverables. + Collaborate with technical teams (developers, architects) to ensure seamless integration with other systems. + Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for Oracle CCS implementations within the utilities sector. **Qualifications** * **Education** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. * **Experience** + 5+ years of experience in implementing and supporting Oracle CCS, CC&B, MDM, and C2M within the utilities industry. + Deep understanding of utility business processes, including meter-to-cash, billing, customer service, and rate structures. + Proven ability to gather and analyze business requirements related to utility operations. + Experience in designing and configuring Oracle CCS, including specific modules relevant to your business. * **Skills** + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Experience with integration tools and technologies (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud, REST APIs) is a plus. + Oracle CCS certifications are a plus. **Work Environment and Company Culture** arenaflex is a dynamic and innovative company that values collaboration, creativity, and customer satisfaction.
