Our client, a rapidly growing technology firm, is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead their strategic sourcing efforts for technology-related goods and services in **Atlanta, Georgia, US**. This role is pivotal in managing supplier relationships, negotiating favorable contracts, and ensuring the cost-effective acquisition of hardware, software, cloud services, and IT consulting. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies aligned with the company's technology roadmap and business objectives. Key duties include identifying potential suppliers, conducting RFPs (Requests for Proposals), RFQs (Requests for Quotations), and tenders, and performing thorough supplier evaluations. You will negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements to achieve optimal value for the organization. Managing existing supplier relationships, monitoring performance, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements will be critical. This role requires a deep understanding of IT market dynamics, emerging technologies, and best practices in strategic sourcing. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, with a strong focus on sourcing technology products and services, is required. Proven experience in contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and cost reduction initiatives is essential. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with internal stakeholders (IT, Finance, Legal) and external vendors. Familiarity with e-procurement systems and tools is highly desirable. You should possess a strategic mindset, a strong understanding of financial principles related to procurement, and the ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
