The Specialist, Strategic Project Management role involves supporting the Conferences Strategy team in driving growth and strategic initiatives while collaborating with senior leaders to enhance business operations. Responsibilities Lead key competitive insights projects to assess competitive events & identify areas to optimize & innovate Collect and analyze data from a variety of sources, synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights and present them to internal teams Collaborate with leaders across the business to explore & implement key learnings Support high-priority growth and operational strategy projects Conduct research, analyze data, and apply strategic frameworks to develop actionable recommendations Assist in executing strategic projects alongside Senior Conferences leaders Manage timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure project goals are met Leverage best practices to drive success and deliver measurable outcomes Actively seek opportunities to learn and develop new skills to become a utility player across the business Embrace a growth mindset and continuously seek feedback to improve and develop your skills and leadership traits Ability to travel up to 10-15% of the time to support project implementation and client engagement activities Skills 1-3 years of professional experience, preferably in a strategy, consulting, or related role Proven ability to solve complex problems creatively and use data to tell a compelling story Ability to critically assess competitive assets, leveraging digital tools including AI Excellent and structured verbal and written communicator with effective presentation and platform skills Demonstrated ability to own a problem and drive from problem statement to solution in a self-sufficient capacity, even in a matrixed environment Operates with a sense of urgency and can excel in an execution-focused environment within the dynamic, fast-paced world of live conferences and events Ability to effectively engage, lead, and influence senior Gartner executives Intellectually curious with a hunger to proactively and independently identify opportunities to drive impact for the business Demonstrates integrity, collaboration, a no-limits mindset, objectivity, and consistent results using global best practices Bachelor's degree highly preferred Benefits Generous PTO A 401k match up to $7,200 per year The opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount Company Overview Gartner provides fact-based consulting services, helping clients use and manage IT to enhance business performance.
