BL Companies is a 100% employee-owned firm that provides engineering, architecture, land surveying, and environmental consulting services. They are seeking Early and Mid-Level Civil Engineers to join their Land Development team, focusing on site development projects from concept planning through construction documentation. Responsibilities Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop civil site designs for land development projects Assist in site layout and grading to ensure compliance with local zoning requirements Design stormwater management and erosion control systems Research permit requirements and local regulations to support project approvals Prepare construction documents, technical reports, and entitlement documents Perform earthwork calculations and drainage analysis Support permit acquisition and modifications during construction Skills Bachelor's degree in civil engineering EIT certification preferred (or ability to obtain within one year) Strong technical, communication, and organizational skills Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred Benefits 6 paid holidays plus the week from Christmas to New Year’s paid Generous PTO Medical, Dental and Vision insurance Disability insurance Life insurance 401k matching Employee Stock Ownership Plan Company Overview BL Companies is a civil engineering company specializing in architecture, engineering, and land surveying services.
