They are seeking a Consumer Loan Ops Representative to provide technical and operational support for consumer loan processing and servicing operations. The role involves ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures while managing loan servicing activities accurately. Responsibilities Create and review consumer loan closing packages to ensure compliance with regulatory and bank lending policy Complete loan maintenance items within various systems including but not limited to file maintenance, lien releases, loan payoff quotes, satisfactions, subordinations, and fee adjustments Accurately enter new loan data into the bank’s core processing system for accurate collateral tracking, repayment method and reporting Meet quality and productivity standards and perform in a fast-paced loan production environment Responsible for accurate disbursements of loan proceeds, including payoffs, general ledger entries, and check disbursements Accountable for responding to verbal and written inquiries from internal and external clients in accordance with department procedures Process payoffs, loan payments and returned loan payments Reviews various scheduled reports, as assigned, for exceptions, errors, auditing, and to perform maintenance transactions Models Thrivent’s leadership competencies – courage, collaboration, and commitment by demonstrating resiliency, working together to make the best decisions, and holding yourself and others accountable Supports and/or develops an environment in which Thrivent employees and colleagues are focused on continuous improvement, exceptional employee engagement, and an unwavering commitment to our clients Shapes and/or supports a culture that represents the Thrivent purpose, promise and values, ensuring that Thrivent’s trust and reputation remain strong with its clients This role will require working directly with the bank’s internal and external clients to accurately manage all requests in a confidential and timely manner according to service level agreements and standard operating procedures This role also requires strong partnerships and communication between the Personal Banking Team to ensure we are delivering the best experience for our clients with the onboarding of new consumer loans Skills High School/equivalent or an associate degree preferred One year banking operations experience required with customer service experience preferred One year customer service experience required with banking operations experience preferred Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and customer-service skills Demonstrate excellent problem resolution skills Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously Bank operations platform experience preferred Ability to work accurately, both independently and as part of a team, with interruptions to meet deadlines Benefits Various bonuses (including, for example, annual or long-term incentives) Medical, dental, and vision insurance Health savings account Flexible spending account 401k Pension Life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance Disability insurance Supplemental protection insurance 20 days of Paid Time Off each year Sick and Safe Time 10 paid company holidays Volunteer Time Off Paid parental leave EAP Well-being benefits Other employee benefits Company Overview Thrivent is a financial services organization that helps Christians be wise with money and live generously.
