As a National Strategic Customer Manager, you will be responsible for increasing the customer base and volume within the Power & HVAC line of business, focused on the electric Power Utility companies. This is an entrepreneurial, empowering workplace that allows you to develop a career track, leverage your current skills in a challenging role, and work with an incredible team of people. **Key Responsibilities:** * Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers with the electrical utility producers throughout the US, including power generation producers such as coal and gas fired power plants, hydroelectric dams, nuclear power plants, wind farms, and large solar arrays. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers with the electrical distribution companies throughout the US, including investor-owned utilities (IOU), cooperatives, and publicly owned. * Coordinate sales calls with local, regional, or national sellers on Strategic Customers within the power utilities sector. * Create and deliver compelling presentations to showcase products and services relevant to the utility operations, such as Power & HVAC, providing temporary solutions during the installation, upgrade, modifications, etc. of the permanent service. * Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs within the utility sector to tailor sales strategies accordingly. * Identify and pursue new sales opportunities by networking, attending industry events, and leveraging existing contacts. * Prepare customized proposals and pricing models based on customer requirements, ensuring alignment with company standards. * Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers, aiming for mutually beneficial terms while ensuring profitability for the company. * Provide ongoing support to customers to address any issues, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships. * Follow up with clients after the sale to gather feedback, assist with implementation, and identify future sales opportunities. * Work closely with internal engineering, marketing, and support teams to ensure product offerings meet customer needs and expectations. * Meet or exceed sales targets, maintaining accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the company's CRM system. * Educate clients about product features, benefits, and best practices, helping them optimize their generation or distribution. * Travel nationally to meet customers, attend trade shows, and explore potential new markets or partnerships. * Develop relationships with the targeted Strategic Customers throughout the US, with the goal of becoming the "first call" with these customers. * Identify regional or national companies within the power generation and distribution sector. * Attend national and regional trade shows as necessary. * Review, design, and update as necessary customer programs (rebates, rates, quick pays, portals, etc.). Work with sales and leadership teams to present agreements to customers. * Oversee and determine rate structure within the specified space. * Keep appropriate business leaders (RMs, VPs, etc.) apprised of activities, progress, or issues with Strategic Customers. * Perform other duties as assigned by the manager. * Support the overall strategy of the company and the Power & HVAC line of business. * Increase revenue and return on investment on specific and assigned product lines and market segments. * Manage specific projects on an as-needed basis to drive revenue and maximize return on investment. **Requirements:** * College degree or equivalent work experience plus 6-8+ years in Outside Sales or Sales Management role * Ability to call on C-suite / executive level contacts within the market segment * Documented successful territory management showing consistent revenue growth * Knowledge of the Power Utility industry * Comfortable cold calling on new accounts * Basic Microsoft Office skills * Comfortable calling on jobsites and corporate office * Work remotely from home or from the local arenaflex Branches, so no relocation required * 75% to 85% travel * Salesforce experience preferred but not required **Physical Demands:** * Must be able to bend, squat, crouch, and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some arenaflex jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions, including rain, wind, or excessive temperatures, and/or night and weekend work. All duties must be performed according to arenaflex's safety policies and guidelines. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with ADA/ADAAA. **Compensation and Benefits:** * Base Pay Range: $99,973.00 - 137,462.60 * Total compensation package includes base pay plus robust commission plan. * Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. * Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision plans, 401(k), volunteer time off, short-term and long-term disability, accident, life, and travel insurance, as well as flexible spending, tuition reimbursement, college savings, EAP, and length of service awards. * Eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. * 12-25 vacation days depending on years of service; 5 sick days; 6 paid holidays, 2 paid half-day holidays, 2 floating holidays, 1 inclusion day, and 1 volunteer day (unless specified in a collective bargaining agreement). **Why Join arenaflex?** * Arenaflex supports service members.
