As a Remote Customer Service Representative Supporting Veterans, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those who have served. **Job Description:** **Key Responsibilities:** * Answer inbound telephone calls, as well as customer inquiries in other channels (email, chat, SMS) as needed, in a courteous, timely, and professional manner, following established guidelines and policies. * Make outbound calls as necessary based on business needs. * Resolve or escalate customer inquiries in a timely manner. * Encourage the use of electronic communication with customers. * Accurately document all customer interactions using Case Management or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. * Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies. * Maintain a high degree of quality with each customer interaction, as measured by internal quality monitoring forms and customer satisfaction surveys. * Follow-up established escalation process for customer inquiries requiring more investigation and/or a higher level of support. * Utilize frequently asked questions (FAQs) and help look up and provide information to inquiries. * Leverage departmental knowledge bases and training material to answer customer inquiries. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies and procedures as applicable. * Adhere to published schedule according to attendance guidelines. * May be required to work some weekends and holidays. * Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. * 1+ year of customer service experience in a call center or similar environment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Proficiency in using CRM software and other technology tools. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience working in a remote or virtual environment. * Familiarity with Veterans' benefits and services. * Knowledge of customer service software and technology. * Experience with case management or CRM systems. * Bilingual or multilingual skills. **Skills and Competencies:** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. * Strong customer service skills, with a focus on empathy and understanding. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong technical skills, including proficiency in CRM software and other technology tools. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** * arenaflex is committed to the growth and development of our team members.
