As a Remote Customer Service Representative – Outreach Specialist, you'll play a vital role in our team, handling high-volume telephonic traffic with Hospitals and Providers on behalf of our healthcare clients. If you're a motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for delivering top-notch service, we want to hear from you! **Job Summary:** As an Outreach Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for coordinating the medical record collection process, updating contact and demographic information, scheduling an extraction of medical records, and coordinating any necessary follow-up. You'll also be responsible for retrieving and indexing medical records across various provider facilities and specialty groups at a pre-arranged date and time. The retrieved documents will then be securely uploaded into our database. **Key Responsibilities:** * Execute a minimum of 60 daily outbound/inbound phone calls with the goal of scheduling records for retrieval * Retrieve medical record images from provider facilities efficiently and professionally * Manage documentation requests and scheduling of document exchange * Follow-up on outstanding document requests that are past due * Document all communications in our system * Types and transmits correspondence as necessary * Process records and documentation according to arenaflex standards * Provide EOD update and report to supervisor after completing an onsite retrieval appointment * Minimize interruption to provider office while observing HIPAA standards and regulations **Required Knowledge and Skills:** * Ability to navigate Windows-based screening system effectively * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products * Understanding of customer service processing requirements * Ability to place and receive calls via computer interface * Track/monitor/retrieve information on calls * Understanding of the management of call queues and experience in it * Familiarity with components of standard Medical Records * 2+ years of experience working in a professional office environment * Relevant call center experience, healthcare industry a strong plus * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience working in a healthcare setting * Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) * Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance * Experience with data entry and documentation * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills **What We Offer:** * Competitive hourly rate of $17 per hour * Opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company * Flexible remote work arrangement * Comprehensive training program to ensure your success * Ongoing support and feedback from our experienced team * Opportunities for career growth and advancement * A fun and collaborative work environment **Company Culture:** At arenaflex, we value our employees and strive to create a positive and inclusive work environment. Our training schedule includes: * 10am ET to 5pm ET for the first 6 days * 9-5:30 ET scheduled from then on **Contract and Benefits:** This is a 5-6 month contract to start, with the possibility of conversion to a permanent employee based on performance and program need.
