As a Business Development and Customer Service Representative, you'll be part of a fun-loving team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in their local communities. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced Business Development and Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for answering phones, meeting enrollment targets, delivering exceptional customer service, processing customer requests, and setting up water safety presentations. You'll also be responsible for making outbound calls to leads, managing and resolving customer issues and complaints, and providing customers with product and service information. **Key Responsibilities** * Answer calls, manage online chat, and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner * Make outbound calls to leads, such as daycare centers, preschools, mother's groups, and other local businesses, to promote our services and meet enrollment targets * Manage and resolve customer issues and complaints in a fair and professional manner * Provide customers with product and service information, including pricing, schedules, and promotions * Accurately enter new customer information into our system and update existing customer information * Process payments, class changes, move-ups, orders, forms, and applications in a timely and accurate manner * Identify and escalate priority issues to management for prompt resolution * Make follow-up and outbound calls to follow up on leads and ensure customer satisfaction * Enter roll (attendance) sheets into our system and document all call information according to standard operating procedures * Complete call logs and produce call reports to track customer interactions and sales performance * Attend in-person staff meetings as required to stay informed about current and upcoming events and promotions in the local marketplace **Essential Qualifications** * 1-2 years of experience in customer service and sales, preferably in a retail or service-based industry * High school education or equivalent * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management * Ability to maintain a positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment * Proficiency in phone systems and computer programs, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet sales and customer service targets * Satisfactory completion of arenaflex's online training program, including Jack Rabbit (POS and Scheduling) and Call Center SkyPrep **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with children or in a child-focused job * Ability to fluently speak additional languages, such as Spanish or Mandarin * Previous experience in a sales or business development role * Knowledge of the local market and ability to identify opportunities for growth and expansion **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong sales and customer service skills * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet sales and customer service targets * Proficiency in phone systems and computer programs, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite * Ability to maintain a positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and escalate priority issues * Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive and productive work culture **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a Business Development and Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in sales, customer service, and business development.
