The Scheduling Coordinator & Transporter plays a dual role in supporting the daily operations of a residential treatment facility. This position is responsible for coordinating staff and client schedules while also providing safe, reliable transportation for residents to appointments, activities, and other approved destinations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and committed to supporting a structured, therapeutic environment. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Scheduling Coordination β’ Develop, maintain, and update staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts β’ Coordinate client appointments, including medical, therapy, and external services β’ Communicate schedule changes promptly to staff and leadership β’ Monitor staffing levels and assist with coverage gaps or call-offs β’ Maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation β’ Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to align schedules with treatment plans Transportation Duties β’ Safely transport residents to and from appointments, meetings, and activities β’ Ensure timely arrivals and adherence to scheduled appointments β’ Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs β’ Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards β’ Follow all traffic laws and organizational transportation policies β’ Assist residents during transport as needed while maintaining appropriate boundaries Skills Coach β’ Safely transport residents to and from appointments, meetings, and activities β’ Ensure timely arrivals and adherence to scheduled appointments β’ Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs β’ Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards β’ Follow all traffic laws and organizational transportation policies β’ Assist residents during transport as needed while maintaining appropriate boundaries Qualifications β’ High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred β’ Valid driverβs license with a clean driving record β’ Previous experience in scheduling, logistics, or administrative coordination preferred β’ Experience working in healthcare, behavioral health, or residential settings is a plus β’ Strong organizational and time-management skills β’ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities β’ Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality ________________________________________ Skills & Competencies β’ Attention to detail and ability to multitask β’ Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment β’ Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism β’ Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage last-minute changes β’ Basic computer proficiency (scheduling software, email, spreadsheets) ________________________________________ Working Conditions β’ Combination of office-based scheduling work and field-based transportation duties β’ May require evenings, weekends, or on-call availability β’ Prolonged periods of driving and sitting β’ Interaction with residents in various stages of treatment ________________________________________ Physical Requirements β’ Ability to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods β’ Ability to assist passengers entering/exiting vehicles if needed β’ Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally ________________________________________ Additional Requirements β’ Must pass background check and drug screening β’ CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) β’ Compliance with all facility policies and regulatory requirements
