Your responsibilities will include: * Assisting passengers with their baggage pick-up, resolving issues with delayed, lost, or damaged items, and utilizing computer software to track and catalog luggage. * Handling customer interactions with class, efficiency, and professionalism, providing solutions to customer inquiries and concerns. * Performing other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position. * Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items of 70 pounds and/or more regularly, and repetitively lifting weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces. **Basic Qualifications** To be considered for this role, you must meet the following basic qualifications: * Be a local (in-state) resident. * Hold a High School diploma or GED. * Possess a valid In-State Driver's License. * Pass a pre-employment drug screen. * Pass up to a 10-year background check. * Be at least 18 years of age. * Have the authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. * Complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security. * Be able to carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs. * Be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment. **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * Previous experience in customer service, preferably in an airport or travel-related environment. * Knowledge of airport operations, including security procedures and protocols. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management. **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and efficient manner. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. * Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze situations and provide effective solutions. * Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items of 70 pounds and/or more regularly, and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** arenaflex is committed to the growth and development of our employees.
