Responsibilities: Represent clients in workers' compensation defense cases from initial claim to resolution. Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and motions. Attend hearings, and depositions to advocate for clients effectively. Analyze case facts and develop strategic defense plans tailored to each case. Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information. Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive case management. Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations. Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active California State Bar license in good standing. 3+ years of experience in workers' compensation defense or related fields. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively. Team-oriented mindset with a passion for client advocacy. Commitment to ongoing professional development and legal education.
