The Provider Operations Manager is responsible for team performance, in regard to provider operations, retention, and satisfaction. This position manages processes and procedures to ensure timely and quality completion of provider acquisition, works internally and cross-functionally to drive improvement for all phases of the provider life cycle, with emphasis on the provider identification, negotiation, management, and credentialing phases. Primary Responsibilities: Oversee Regional Managers and strategic sourcing team to ensure the effectiveness of network for all programs. Responsible for specific team performance in order to achieve operational goals in regards to provider training, retention and satisfaction Arrange contract management and credentialing services with healthcare provider networks Direct training of team members on workflows and contractual modifications in an efficient and timely manner Conduct research to identify providers within designated markets Create, maintain, and carry out schedules that ensure deadlines are reached Partner with liaison management and support teams to identify provider problems and complaints to develop and implement action plans in order to enhance provider support and experience efficiency Responsible for the daily operational workflow, including communication with internal and external partners, resolution of customer issues, and identifying workflow concerns for specific cases and employees Use provider systems to manage and produce reports and analyses Negotiate and reviewing contract requirements with providers interested in partnership through communication QTC’s core values Manage processes focused on exceptional customer service, effective provider utilization, and immediate resolution of provider issues Ensure utilization of best practice workflows to ensure operational excellence and seek improvements in order to automate recurring processes Responsible for monthly and quarterly operational analysis and reporting Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college preferably in a healthcare or business-related field or equivalent experience/combined education Minimum 7 years of leadership experience in the areas of Healthcare Management, management consulting, and managing provider networks Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation Preferred Qualifications: 3-5 years direct hands-on experience in a clinical setting About Leidos QTC Health Services Leidos QTC Health Services collaborates closely with government and non-government customers to address current and future program needs within the health services domain.
