Job Title: Asset Finance Associate (3+ PQE) Location: Hybrid – Manchester, UK Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Competitive Overview Our client is seeking a talented Asset Finance Associate to join a high-performing finance team supporting complex, high-value transactions across a diverse client base. This role offers exposure to both domestic and international matters, working with financial institutions and corporate borrowers across a range of sectors. You will play a key role in delivering commercially focused legal advice while contributing to the continued growth and reputation of a collaborative, nationally integrated team. Responsibilities Advise on a broad range of asset finance and leasing transactions , including finance leasing, receivables finance, and debt finance. Support complex transactions involving vendor finance, lease book acquisitions, and structuring matters . Work across a wide range of asset classes, including transport, energy, industrial equipment, and technology assets. Collaborate with colleagues across multiple offices and disciplines to deliver integrated legal solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contributing to high levels of client satisfaction. Support business development activities , including networking, client engagement, and training delivery. Contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the wider finance and projects team. Engage in continuous professional development through structured training, mentoring, and leadership programmes. Requirements Essential Experience & Skills: Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE in asset finance or related finance law. Strong experience advising on asset finance transactions , including leasing and debt structures. Ability to work on complex, multi-party transactions across sectors. Core Competencies: Commercially minded with the ability to deliver pragmatic, client-focused advice . Strong relationship-building skills with both clients and internal stakeholders. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Collaborative team player with a proactive and inquisitive mindset.
