POSITIO N SUMMARY The International Marketing Manager is responsible for coordinating and executing marketing activities and communications across Carlβs Jr. Canada restaurants. This role serves as a central hub for CKE and franchisee marketing teams, ensuring brand consistency, calendar alignment, sports marketing, franchisee LSM support, and high-quality creative execution across Canada. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS May perform any or all of the following duties: Leads day-to-day communication and execution with the Canada creative and social media agencies, ensuring timely delivery, brand consistency, and market relevance across platforms. Coordinates & supports cross-channel campaign launches across in-restaurant, digital, app, loyalty, and third-party delivery platforms. Monitors campaign performance and identifies opportunities to optimize marketing impact. Leads Canada merchandising development, including competitive benchmarking and best-practice sharing across markets. Develops and presents high-impact marketing presentations for internal leadership and franchise partners, including social strategy, merchandising, and asset updates. Owns and maintains Canada marketing calendars, ensuring alignment and proactive communication with franchise partners and internal teams. Partners with Operations, Supply Chain, QA, and Training teams to ensure marketing initiatives are executed consistently across restaurants. Partners with Culinary Innovation and Brand teams to support local product innovation and necessary new product photography that serve regional market needs. Serves as a primary marketing liaison for Canada franchisees and their teams, supporting planning, content development, and execution for key regional meetings. Must build strong relationships with franchisees and operators, serving as a key marketing advisor and support franchisees in developing and executing LSM plans. Supports the scheduling, logistics and execution of Canada franchisee marketing meetings and functions. Supports forecasting, tracking, billing, and reconciling for activities within the Canada Ad Fund, ensuring accuracy and transparency across CKE and the Canada Marketing Committee. Regularly visit restaurants across Canada to stay grounded in the guest experience, evaluate marketing execution, and strengthen franchisee partnerships. Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and/or requirements. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIES 5β7 years of progressive experience in brand, product, or franchise marketing, with exposure to multi-market or international environments. Experience in QSR, retail, or multi-unit consumer brands strongly preferred, ideally within a franchise system. BA/BS Degree preferred. Exceptional communicator and project manager with the ability to influence franchise partners, agencies, and internal stakeholders across cultures and geographies. Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, balancing speed, quality, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized, strategic marketer capable of building repeatable systems, improving workflows, and driving measurable impact across markets. Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and discretion when working with franchise partners, agencies, and sensitive brand information. Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
