Indiana Online, a department of the Central Indiana Educational Service Center (CIESC), provides synchronous and asynchronous instruction to partner schools throughout the state for students in grades 6-12. The Indiana certified English/Language Arts teacher will provide synchronous and asynchronous instruction to students enrolled in the program for grades 9-12 remotely. Begins: July 27, 2026 Position Summary Indiana Online, a department of the Central Indiana Educational Service Center (CIESC), provides synchronous and asynchronous instruction to partner schools throughout the state for students in grades 6-12. The Indiana certified English/Language Arts teacher will provide synchronous and asynchronous instruction to students enrolled in the program for grades 9-12 remotely. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: The teacher will be responsible for the successful completion of the following tasks: ● Provide engaging synchronous and asynchronous instruction following the master schedule ● Communicate with parents, students, and Indiana Online staff regularly to proactively address student concerns and progress ● Provide detailed and actionable feedback and suggest instructional approaches and strategies ● Monitor student progress on mastery of the learning objectives ● Complete all grading and monitor student progress on mastery of the learning objectives ● Review Indiana Online curriculum alongside the Instructional Design Team to ensure standards alignment ● Support students and parents with alternate strategies and provide additional assistance with daily assignments and projects ● Keep student records and data points up-to-date ● Reports to and is evaluated by the Assistant Director Other Duties and Tasks: ● Attend all required Indiana Online and CIESC virtual meetings ● Attend all required Indiana Online and CIESC in person meetings ● Attend company-wide functions as requested ● Engage in professional learning opportunities per organization or supervisor’s request ● Other duties as assigned by supervisor Required education, certifications and licensures: ● Bachelor’s in Education for the assigned content area ● Current Indiana Teaching License for the assigned content area Questions?
