Your responsibilities will include: * **Guiding and Directing Aircraft**: Safely and efficiently guide incoming and outgoing aircraft on the taxiway, ensuring they enter or leave their gate on-time and safely. * **Loading and Unloading Baggage**: Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, cargo/freight, and company materials, some of which can weigh up to 75 lbs. * **Operating Ground Equipment**: Drive ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and bag carts to help planes push in/out of gates, load baggage, and deliver baggage to the claim area or connecting flights. * **Collaborating with the Internal Team**: Work closely with our internal team to ensure a safe and on-time departure, and provide exceptional customer service to our passengers. * **Providing a Positive Passenger Experience**: Create a warm and welcoming start to a passenger's trip by being the first to greet them and providing a seamless check-in and ticketing experience. * **Using Reservation/Ticketing Software**: Utilize reservation/ticketing software to rebook itineraries, issue boarding passes, calculate and collect any appropriate fees, and inform passengers about their trips and belongings. * **Resolving Passenger Issues**: Listen to passengers and resolve their issues in a timely and friendly manner, in accordance with company policies and procedures. * **Working in the Baggage Service Office**: May work in the Baggage Service Office to track the location of baggage and handle passenger questions. **Who Are We Looking For?** We're seeking individuals who are passionate about the airline industry and possess the following qualifications: * **Minimum Age**: 18 years old * **Education**: High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent * **Driver's License**: Possess a valid, unexpired, and unsuspended state driver's license; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role * **Availability**: Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, overnights, weekends, holidays, and rotating days off * **Flexibility**: Flexible to work additional hours with short notice when operationally necessary * **Physical Ability**: Must be able to carry, bend, lift, and turn with bags and other items weighing up to 75 lbs. * **Weather Conditions**: Must be willing and able to work outside in variable weather conditions * **Communication Skills**: Able to communicate in a clear, polite, and friendly manner * **Language Skills**: Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language * **Authorization**: Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship **What We Offer** As an arenaflex employee, you'll enjoy a range of benefits and perks, including: * **Competitive Pay Rate**: $11.80 per hour * **Opportunities for Career Growth**: Comprehensive training and development programs to help you grow and develop your career * **Comprehensive Health and Life Benefits**: Our comprehensive health and life benefits package (subject to location) ensures that you and your loved ones are protected and supported, both on and off the job * **Employee Flight Privileges**: Enjoy incredible flight privileges within the American Airlines global network * **A Dynamic and Supportive Work Environment**: Work with a team of passionate and dedicated individuals who are committed to providing outstanding service to our customers **How to Apply** If you're passionate about the airline industry and possess the skills and qualifications we're looking for, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
