Job Description

The National Hockey League (NHL) is the premier professional ice hockey league in the world. They are seeking a Royalty Analyst to process royalty statements, review results, and communicate with licensees regarding reporting discrepancies. Responsibilities Processing statements in the royalty system Reviewing royalties reported for assigned licensees Analyzing revenue generated from royalty statement processing and the resulting receivable Reviewing and applying cash received from licensees against outstanding receivables Communicate with licensees regarding their royalty reporting, outstanding payments, and any related issues that arise Assisting with the preparation of royalty reporting templates for licensees based on licensee’s contractual terms Assist with testing new releases of the royalty system, as needed Ad hoc special projects Skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent verbal and written skills Strong analytical and organizational skills and able to solve problems Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Take initiative and develop creative solutions to issues Experience with consumer products licensing and RightsLogic's IP rights management software a plus Minimum of Bachelor's degree, Accounting or Finance degrees are a plus Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Comprehensive health benefits Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Digital wellness resource Childcare Leave 401K (pre-tax and Roth options) Non-elective (employer) contributions Hybrid Work Schedule Pre-tax commuter benefit plan NHL Partner Rates Company Overview The National Hockey League, founded in 1917, is the second-oldest of the four major professional team sports leagues in North America.
