IAB Tech Lab is an organization that empowers the media and marketing industries to thrive in the digital economy. They are seeking a Manager of Member Engagement & Development to drive revenue growth and manage member relationships through engagement strategies and collaboration with various internal teams. Responsibilities Partner with the Senior Director to manage a portfolio of current and prospective agency and brand members, driving retention, expansion, and new business Build and execute member engagement strategies, including outreach, calls, and email campaigns to increase participation Develop deep, multi-layered relationships with members going beyond revenue to connect them into IAB’s broader work (policy, standards, etc.) Help sell and promote IAB sponsorships, training programs, and certifications Maintain and grow a strong pipeline of new members, with clear next steps and targets Collaborate closely with the Events team to deliver integrated and high-quality member experiences Partner across internal teams (Events, Professional Development, Policy, Tech Lab) to ensure members are connected to the right opportunities Maintain strong CRM discipline (Salesforce)—tracking activity, contacts, pipeline, and next steps Drive account planning and follow-through across priority accounts Engage with members, partners, and industry leaders to gather market intelligence and insights Stay on top of industry trends, company movements, and opportunities to inform outreach and strategy Support executive-level relationship building through preparation, follow-ups, and coordination Help ensure a seamless member experience, resolving issues and improving processes along the way Contribute to team success by mentoring junior team members as you grow in the role Skills Experience in sales or business development Ability to build relationships and drive revenue growth Strong communication skills for outreach, calls, and email campaigns Ability to develop deep, multi-layered relationships with members Experience in selling and promoting sponsorships, training programs, and certifications Strong pipeline management skills with clear next steps and targets Collaboration skills to work with internal teams Strong CRM discipline, specifically with Salesforce Ability to drive account planning and follow-through Ability to gather market intelligence and insights Knowledge of industry trends and company movements Experience in executive-level relationship building Ability to ensure a seamless member experience Mentoring skills for junior team members Interest in media, marketing, and advertising Ability to connect value to client needs quickly Persistence and organization Thrives in a fast-paced, high-exposure environment Hungry, coachable, and driven attitude Company Overview The IAB Technology Laboratory (IAB Tech Lab) is a non-profit research and development consortium that produces and provides standards, software, tools, and services to drive growth and efficiency in the global digital media ecosystem.
